This week:

  • Saturday, January 24, 7-10 PM—Youth Night Out: Dodgeball. Snacks and drinks served.
  • Sunday, January 25, 9:15 AM—Church Vision Raising: The Church Going Out. Come and offer your input on possible new areas of ministry at our church that will take our church to the world.
  • Sunday, January 25, Noon—Congregational Meeting. Confirmed youth are eligible to vote in the meeting.

Coming up:

  • Sunday, February 1, Noon—2009 Mission Trip Meeting. All current 6th-12th grade students and their parents are invited to come to a brief meeting about the 2009 Mission Trip. Come learn about dates, costs, deadlines, and more. Light snacks will be served.
  • Sunday, February 1, 5 PM—Super Bowl Party at the Bengtson’s house. Kickoff is around 5:20 PM. The game will be able 4 hours long.
  • Sunday, January 8, noon—Youth Choir Practice. The youth will lead Sunday morning worship services on all 5th Sundays, with practice being twice a month. We need all sorts of help, so come even if you don’t have any musical talent. Led by Steve Hawkins and Kathy Peterson. Lunch served.
  • Sunday, January 8, noon—Judy Knoll is hosting a “Valentine Making Day” after church for all ages. Cost is $10 per person and includes lunch and all supplies. Proceeds go to the Youth Mission Fund. So, those who are not participating in the youth choir or those who want to make a quick Valentine are welcome to participate.
  • Wednesdays:
    • 5:45 PM—Pizza Dinner Served
    • 6:00-7:15—Owning It (Confirmation)
    • 6:30-7:30—Cross-Examination (HS)
  • Sundays, 9:15 PM—Sunday School:
    • Jr. High (7th-8th grade) ~ Faith Lens: relevant topics to daily life.
