We are going to try something new with Inner Mission this semester: splitting between two locations to help divide the burden of driving between participants. The Tokle’s have offered to host the second location, with the Bengtson’s remaining as they have in the past.

With that in mind, here is the upcoming schedule for the next two weeks:

  • This Sunday, October 5, 6-8 PM—Inner Mission at the Tokle’s house (email Matt for a map and address). We will discuss living our Christian faith within “suburbia.” This is open to Jr. High and High School youth. Dinner served.
  • Sunday, October 12, 8-8 PM—Inner Mission at the Bengtson’s house.
  • Wednesday, October 15—Registration deadline for high school Unfinished Retreat.
  • Wednesdays—Regular Wednesday Schedule:
    • 5:45 PM—Pizza Dinner Served ($3 per person)
    • 6:00-7:15—Owning it (Confirmation for Jr. High)
    • 6:30-7:30—Cross-Examination (High School)
  • Sundays, 9:15 PM—Sunday School:
    • Jr. High (7th-8th grade) ~ Faith Lens: relevant topics to daily life.
    • High School ~ Old School: Malachi

Coming up soon:

  • Friday-Saturday, October 17-18—Confirmation (7-8 grade) Mini-Retreat at the Harr’s Ranch. We will leave the church at 7:00 PM Friday. Please eat dinner before you come. We will return at 4:30 PM Saturday.
  • Sunday, October 19—Registration deadline for Road Rally.
  • Sunday, October 26—DFW Lutheran Youth Road Rally (high school only). Details on youth bulletin board.
  • Saturday-Sunday, November 8-9—High School Unfinished Retreat at Briarwood.
